Overview
BZBGEAR Studio Core-N is the NDI|HX2 version of our Studio Core kit, built for teams that have committed to a network-based, software-driven production workflow. The bundle pairs three BG-UPTZ-ND20X Universal Full HD PTZ cameras (1080p@60Hz, 20X optical zoom, 1/2.8" Sony CMOS) with native NDI|HX2 over a single Ethernet cable. Each camera can be discovered and routed by any NDI-aware tool, including vMix, OBS Studio, NDI Studio Monitor, TriCaster and dozens more, without any additional capture or conversion hardware.
Even though the cameras are NDI-first, they remain fully universal. HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB 3.0 outputs are all simultaneously active, so the same kit also drops into hybrid productions that mix NDI with traditional baseband signal flows. ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP and SRT are all supported alongside NDI|HX2, and up to 255 presets can be programmed per camera for repeatable shots.
Camera operation is handled by the BG-Commander-Jr joystick controller, which speaks IP VISCA, VISCA over IP, ONVIF and PELCO-P/D, so it can drive the cameras directly over the network with no separate control wiring. Because Studio Core-N is designed for software-based switching (in vMix, OBS, etc.), the bundle does not include a hardware production switcher. The user's preferred NDI-aware production software takes that role.
All supporting hardware is included: a NET-5DP433 PoE network switch to power and connect every camera and the controller over a single CAT cable each, six BG-CAB-H21C3 HDMI 2.1 cables for any baseband connections you do want to make, and three BG-UWM wall mounts plus three BG-UCM ceiling mounts. The BG-UPTZ-ND20X is the NDI|HX2 version of the Universal Full HD PTZ series, pairing a 1/2.8" Sony CMOS sensor and 20X optical zoom with native NDI|HX2 video over IP. With a single Ethernet cable, the camera delivers high-quality, low-latency video and audio onto the network, ready for use in vMix, OBS, NDI Studio Monitor and any other NDI-enabled production tool, while still providing simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB 3.0 outputs for hybrid hardware/software workflows.
In addition to NDI|HX2, the BG-UPTZ-ND20X supports ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP and SRT, plus IR remote, browser web GUI, IP VISCA and serial RS-232/RS-485 control via VISCA, PELCO-D and PELCO-P. Up to 255 presets, a 3.5 mm audio input for direct audio embedding, and an onboard resolution-lock dial keep complex multi-camera productions stable and predictable. Available in black or white, this camera is an ideal choice for teams committed to an NDI-first IP video workflow without sacrificing traditional connectivity.

The BG-Commander-Jr is a compact yet powerful professional-grade joystick controller designed for precise camera operation. Its 2-axis joystick and zoom rocker provide refined PTZ control, while a 7-level PTZ speed setting with a visual indicator gives operators full command over camera movement. Knob-style controls with dedicated mini displays make adjusting exposure, gain, white balance and focus fast and intuitive.
Connectivity covers both IP and serial workflows: a LAN port (with PoE for single-cable installation), RS-232 over DB9, and RS-422/RS-485 over a Phoenix terminal. The controller supports VISCA, VISCA over IP, ONVIF, and PELCO-P/D protocols, and can manage up to five cameras with real-time preset set, call, and reset directly from the main display. Backlit silicone buttons, a 4-color LED status display and a built-in web interface make the BG-Commander-Jr equally at home in broadcast, education, telemedicine and house-of-worship setups.
What else is in the box
To make installation as simple as possible, every bundle ships with all the supporting hardware needed to get the system on-air. This includes the NET-5DP433 Netgear 8-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE/PoE+ unmanaged switch (60W PoE budget, FlexPoE-expandable to 90W or 130W) for powering and networking the cameras and controller over a single CAT cable per device, six BG-CAB-H21C3 8K-rated HDMI 2.1 cables for clean signal runs from the cameras and sources to the switcher, and a complete set of BG-UWM and BG-UCM universal wall and ceiling mounts (one of each per camera) so installers can place each unit exactly where the production needs it.

Interfaces
