Overview

The BZBGEAR BG-IPGEAR-XTREME Series delivers next-generation HDMI 2.1 over IP performance, enabling uncompressed 4K@120Hz 4:4:4 video, multi-channel audio, and KVM functionality over standard Cat.5e/6 cabling up to 100 meters. Designed for high-end AV environments, this system supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multicast configurations, providing seamless video switching, ultra-low latency, and flexible scalability. With bi-directional IR, RS-232, and USB 3.1 Gen1/Gen2 integration, it’s the ideal solution for digital signage, corporate AV, broadcast, gaming, and command center applications.

Transmitter (BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-T)

The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-T transmitter serves as the system’s signal origin, encoding HDMI 2.1 video, audio, and control data for IP distribution. It supports ultra-high-definition resolutions up to 4K@120Hz (4:4:4) with HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, ensuring pristine image quality with accurate color reproduction and sharp detail. Advanced content technologies such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) reduce input lag and provide smooth, tear-free visuals for interactive and fast-paced applications.

Equipped with a USB Host port, the transmitter connects directly to source devices like PCs, media players, or control servers, enabling KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) functionality when paired with a receiver. Through its RS-232 and IR inputs, users can manage source devices remotely or integrate the system with third-party control platforms. The transmitter supports PoE power through its Gigabit Ethernet port, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter.

Designed for flexible deployment, the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-T enables seamless matrix switching, video wall configurations, and MultiView modes (PiP, PbP, PoP, and Quad-view) when used with multiple receivers. Its low-latency (<1 frame) transmission makes it ideal for real-time monitoring, live event production, and mission-critical AV systems.

Receiver (BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-R)

The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-R receiver is responsible for decoding the transmitted IP signal and delivering uncompressed 4K video and rich audio to displays or projectors. It supports eARC/ARC, enabling high-quality audio return from the display to AV receivers or soundbars without additional cabling. With full Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and LPCM 7.1 compatibility, the receiver ensures premium sound quality for professional AV and entertainment applications.

The receiver’s USB Device port allows connection to peripherals such as keyboards, mice, or touchscreens, providing full KVM extension when paired with the transmitter’s USB Host. Bi-directional IR and RS-232 interfaces allow remote control of display devices or integration with automation systems. The front-panel DIP mode switch makes configuration simple, while PoE support allows for single-cable power and data delivery.

Optimized for performance and reliability, the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-R supports seamless source switching, MultiView display modes, and HDR passthrough, ensuring a professional-grade AV experience. Its scalable multicast design makes it easy to expand systems as needed, from single-display setups to large video distribution networks.
