Overview

The BG-IPGEAR-PRO-R is a high-performance Receiver/Decoder that is an essential component in the BZBGEAR IPGEAR-PRO AV over IP system. It provides decoding of 4K 60Hz UHD HDMI video transmission over IP networks, and also has support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). This system is ideal for digital signage, video walls, and video distribution in commercial installations.

Connectivity

The BG-IPGEAR-PRO-R is designed to be easy to install and use. When paired with the BG-IPGEAR-PRO-T transmitters and the BG-IPGERAR-PRO-C controller, it becomes one of the most user-friendly video over IP solutions on the market. The controller can automatically discover each IPGEAR-PRO device on the network, making the setup process simple and effortless. Furthermore, the system is TAA compliant, making it suitable for government use.

It also offers a scalable solution that enables users to add additional Transmitter or Receiver units to the network at any time, providing full flexibility and customization to HDMI distribution and switching over IP.

The BG-IPGEAR-PRO-R offers various features and functionalities, such as audio embedding and de-embedding, HDCP 2.2 compliance, PoE, bi-directional IR extension, and RS-232 extension. It also has a USB 2.0 hub that enables KVM extension and remote management, allowing users to expand the range at which they can use peripherals to interact with host devices. Point-to-point, point-to-many, and multicasting broadcasting formats are supported, meaning one HDMI source can be broadcasted to as many displays as necessary. Moreover, it also has a feature for creating custom video walls, that can be controlled via a user-friendly web interface or a free iOS control app - BG-AVOIP-CONTROL.

The BG-IPGEAR-PRO-R is compact, measuring at 180 x 142 x 28 mm (7” x 5.5” x 3.2” inches), making it easy to integrate into any environment. It also supports custom rack mounts and has a surface mount bracket for easy installation.
