It has a fairly wide angle, but you can also utilize the ePTZ functionality to zoom in and adjust the image framing as you see fit. You could also look at the BG-EPTZ-AF as well if you’d like to have a similar experience but have it auto-frame instead of needing to manually frame it.

You can for sure! If you’re a bit of an animated person but are concerned about constantly moving in and out of frame then the BG-EPTZ-AF is a great option for live streaming. It will auto frame you and make sure that you are always in the center of the frame.

Our BG-UC-MHD is designed specifically to offer a higher quality microphone experience in your pro webcam. It’s easy to transport and move around since it’s so small but it’s a great choice if you want a webcam that can double as a high quality audio source.

Our BG-EPTZ-UH4K is going to be the webcam that you want to look at for this use case. Because it allows you to manually frame the image and zoom and pan/tilt as you see fit you can have full control over what is being shown at the time.

This will depend on what you are wanting to accomplish. If you just need a webcam to have on top of your desk for meetings, then a simple fixed lens like our BG-UC-MHD is a fantastic option. However if you are going to be doing something a little more dynamic like installing it in a classroom or a conference room than one with ePTZ capabilities would be recommended.

If you were sitting in front of a window, and the camera did not have the ability to adjust itself then you would be completely washed out by the light of the window. With auto adjustment, you will be a bit harder to see as it will “darken” the image to expose for the light source, but you will be more visible than you would have been otherwise! We would recommend not placing a bright light source directly behind you.

Yes they can! Our entire webcam lineup can be mounted on a tripod for maximum flexibility. Our BG-EPTZ-AF or our BG-EPTZ-UH4K would fit the bill for tripod mounting the best if you want to use them for recording.

Ultimately, yes. While you may not be streaming 4K, the original image can be 4K and sent as 1080p which will help to reduce the effects of compression. This also means that you have more options in the future.
