The BG-4K-VP-R is a professional 4K UHD HDMI receiver designed for high-quality long-distance signal reception over a single Cat5e/6/6a/7 cable. Supporting HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.3 compliance with full 18Gbps bandwidth, it delivers stable, uncompressed video and audio performance for commercial and residential AV environments.

The unit receives 4K HDMI signals up to 230ft (70m) over a single Cat6/6a cable while maintaining full signal integrity and HDR compatibility. With integrated IR control, RS-232 pass-through, audio de-embedding, and PoC power support, the BG-4K-VP-R provides a compact and reliable solution for extended-distance HDMI signal reception.

Technical Description

The BG-4K-VP-R is a professional HDMI 2.0b receiver supporting ultra-high-definition video up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with 18Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.3 compliance. It ensures full-quality signal reception from compatible HDMI distribution systems while maintaining support for modern HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG.

It is designed to receive HDMI signals up to 230ft (70m) over Cat5e/6/6a cabling, providing stable, low-latency performance for professional AV installations. The receiver includes HDMI audio de-embedding for direct audio extraction, as well as bi-directional IR pass-through for remote control functionality across connected devices.

For integration flexibility, the unit supports RS-232 pass-through for external control systems and is powered via PoC (Power over Cable), eliminating the need for a local power adapter. Its compact design allows for easy installation in tight spaces, making it ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, digital signage, and commercial AV deployments.

The BG-4K-VP-R is the dedicated receiver for the BG-4K-VP1616PRO 16×16 4K UHD Video Wall Matrix Switcher, providing reliable signal reception at each display location. The BG-4K-VP1616PRO includes 16 BG-4K-VP-R receivers, one for each of its 16 outputs.
