Connectivity and Quality: The BG-4K-1616MA supports ultra-high resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with HDR. With 18 Gbps of uncompressed bandwidth, HDMI signals are routed without any loss of quality. All HDMI ports on this matrix switcher are HDCP 2.2 compliant, ensuring compatibility with modern content protection standards. It also features auto-downscaling on all outputs to ensure compatibility with older displays. Furthermore, the BG-4K-1616MA supports Digital S/PDIF and Balanced audio output formats for versatile audio integration.
Control: The BG-4K-1616MA offers multiple control methods including front panel controls, an IR remote control, RS-232, and TCP/IP (Web GUI). The included IR receiver allows for remote control operation even when the unit is hidden for a clean installation. Additionally, the full-featured web interface and control software, accessible via RS-232, enables users to adjust advanced settings such as EDID management, signal mapping, and network configurations. Control is also accessible on mobile phones, personal computers, and devices through the BG-SWITCH-CONTROL App by BZBGEAR, available for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Audio Matrixing: This unit features advanced audio matrixing capabilities. The audio can be independently routed separately from the video signals. This feature provides flexible audio management options for a variety of installation scenarios.

Featuring a vibrant full-color LCD screen, it offers a crisp and detailed view of the system's menu. Navigation is both seamless and intuitive, enhanced by strategically placed backlit buttons conveniently located to the right of the display.
The back panel is equipped with 16 HDMI input ports and 16 HDMI output ports, all clearly labeled and numbered from 1 to 16 for easy identification. These HDMI ports are also readily accessible within the Web GUI and Control Software. Each port supports scalable resolutions, with a maximum capability of 4K60 4:4:4.
The BG-4K-1616MA is equipped with 16 coaxial audio output ports, making audio connectivity straightforward and efficient. Each port allows for easy connections to audio output devices, such as amplifiers, using coaxial cables. The supported coaxial audio formats include LPCM 2.0, Dolby Digital, and DTS 5.1. Interfaces
- LCD Screen: Display matrix switching status, input / output port, EDID, baud rate, IP Address, etc.
- IR: IR signal receiver. Receiving the signal from the IR remote.
- POWER Button & Indicator: Press the button to power on the device, and at this time the light is blue.
Long-press the button for 3 seconds to enter the standby mode, and at this time the light is red. - FNC: Multi-function button.
FNC + Number (1~16): Select the input source for all output channels.
Number (1~16) means the input source (1~16).
FNC + FNC + 1: Display IP address.
FNC + FNC + 2: Display the baud rate of serial port.
Note: The info above will disappear automatically in 3 seconds. - MENU / ENTER / UP / DOWN: Screen operation buttons. Take RESET, for example.
① On the initial LCD display screen, press “MENU” button. There are OUTPUT SETTINGS/INPUT SETTINGS/AUDIO BREAKOUT/SETUP/FIRMWARE items to be selected.
② Press the “UP/DOWN” button to select SETUP item.
③ Press the “ENTER” button to enter into the next level. There are LCD ONTIME/BAUDRATE/NETWORK/REBOOT/RESET items to be selected.
④ Press the “UP/DOWN” button to select RESET item.
⑤ Press the “ENTER” button, and it will prompt to confirm. Now press "FNC" to continue, or press "MENU" to return.Note: Pressing the “MENU” button will return to the previous menu on any page. - INPUT / OUTPUT (1~16) Buttons: Press a number (1~16) firstly to select an output channel, and then press a number (1~16) to select the corresponding input source.
- AUDIO OUT (1~16): Digital audio output port, connected to an audio device such as speaker.
- TCP/IP: TCP/IP control port, connected to PC or router with an RJ45 cable.
- RS-232 Port: Connects to a PC or control system to control the matrix.
- IR EXT: Connects to a 12V wideband IR receiver cable. If the IR receiver window of the unit is blocked or the unit is installed in a closed area out of infrared line of sight, the IR receiver cable can be inserted to the “IR EXT” port to receive the IR remote signal.
- DC 24V: Connects to 24V/5A power supply.
- GND: Connects the housing to the ground.
- HDMI IN (1~16): HDMI signal input ports, connected to HDMI source device such as PC, DVD or set-top box with HDMI cable.
- HDMI OUT (1~16): HDMI signal output ports, connected to HDMI display device such as TV or monitor with an HDMI cable.
