Do you have multiple source devices to connect to multiple TVs? Then you’ll need a matrix switcher. Do you happen to own eight different source devices and eight different TVs? Then you’ll most certainly need the new BZBGEAR BZ-UHD-88M-ARC. This is an HDMI / HDBaseT™ matrix switcher that allows transmission of your eight devices to your eight TVs (six HDBaseT outputs; two independent HDMI outputs).
The BZ-UHD-88M-ARC matrix switcher sends 4K HDR, 18Gbps up to 115 feet (35 meters) and 1080p to 230 feet (70 meters). It accomplishes this using six BZ-66M-70RX receivers, which are included with the matrix switcher. It is HDMI 2.0b, HDCP 2.2, and HDCP 1.4 compatible.
The system rocks with optical and analog audio outputs. The BZ-UHD-88M-ARC supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) along with digital audio formats such as LPCM, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.
There are several ways to control the BZ-UHD-88M-ARC. A convenient web UI lets you control and configure the matrix switcher with a laptop. Other options are LAN/IP control, RS-232, and IR. There are IR inputs and outputs on the matrix switch and receivers for 3.5 connections. The system includes 15 blasters and 16 flashers. And of course, there is a handy dandy remote and front-panel buttons.
