    Neither of our KVM switches will do 4k@120.

    Can I share USB peripherals like a webcam, microphone, or external hard drive between two computers using a KVM?

    Yes you can. Our BG-UHD-KVM21A has USB inputs for a mouse and keyboard as well as a third peripheral. It also has the ability to accept a microphone and headphones or speakers through the 3.5mm jacks on the front.

    How do I switch between computers — is there a physical button, a keyboard hotkey, or a remote control?

    On these units you switch between the computers by pressing the source button on the front panel of the device.

    Is there an 8K HDMI 2.1 KVM switch for next-gen workstations and high-resolution displays?

    Not in our lineup.

    How does a KVM switch handle "EDID emulation" to prevent my windows from resizing when I switch between PCs?

    The PC should be able to set the resolution to be the same for both PCs so that this is not an issue.

    Can I use a KVM switch to share a single ultra-wide monitor between my work laptop and my personal gaming rig?

    Yes! KVMs can be used for this and in fact this is a common use case. The BG-UHD-KVM41A could even be used to switch between two PCs and two other devices like a console or media player.

    Do KVM switches support fast switching to ensure there is no long delay when jumping from one system to another?

    Yes, the switching is relatively fast on these KVM switches.
