8K Splitters / Amplifiers
BZBGEAR 8K Splitters / Amplifiers
An 8K splitter enables users to split a single HDMI 2.1 signal and output it to multiple displays or output sources. Overall, these devices are perfect for applications needing high-quality one-to-many content sharing. Examples could include sports bars live streaming a game throughout their venue or retail spaces showcasing a graphic in their store.

What are 8K Splitters and Amplifiers?
An 8K splitter enables users to split a single HDMI 2.1 signal and output it to multiple displays or output sources. Overall, these devices are perfect for applications needing high-quality one-to-many content sharing. Examples could include sports bars live streaming a game throughout their venue or retail spaces showcasing a graphic in their store.
An 8K amplifier (also known as a booster) takes an HDMI 2.1 input signal and strengthens it, enabling it to be transmitted longer distances without signal degradation. These devices are typically implemented when users are experiencing weak signal transmission in their environment due to unavoidable signal interference.

How Do 8K Splitters and Amplifiers Work?

Key Features to Look For
How to Choose the Right 8K Splitter or Amplifier
The main difference between our 8K splitters is the number of output ports available. An 8K HDMI splitter 1 in 2 out splits a single HDMI 2.1 signal two ways. For slightly larger systems, an 8K HDMI splitter 1 in 4 out takes in one input source and splits the signal 4 ways.
For larger systems requiring more input or output ports, please contact a BZBGEAR representative for project design assistance.
The easiest way to do this is to use an 8K capable HDMI splitter. We at BZBGEAR have several options available for splitters and we’ll go over two of them. The first option for showing the same content on two TVs is going to be our BG-8K-DA12 which is an easy to use 1x2 splitter. Our other option is our BG-8K-DA12A-G2, this option brings the same 1x2 splitting capability but it also brings audio de-embedding
The short answer is no! The slightly longer answer is that, especially when you purchase a quality splitter, there is special care taken to ensure that the signal is not degraded. After all, if you want to show the same content on several screens, it doesn’t do you much good if they look terrible!
For an RTX 40-series GPU, we recommend any of our splitters that have a full 48Gbps of bandwidth available to them. You can find that lineup here. There are a couple of reasons why we recommend this, but the biggest of all is the fact that with 48Gbps the splitter can support both 4K at 120fps and 1080 at 240fps.
With the right product you absolutely can, more specifically you will need a splitter that supports audio extraction. Take for example, the BG-8K-DA14A-G2, this 1x4 splitter not only supports 8K but it also has audio extraction.
- To put it simply, yes it can! If your displays have support for the same HDR formats then our splitters have no problems pushing the same exact image, including HDR, to both displays!
- Yes, our 8K splitters certainly can support 4K 120hz in addition to being able to support 8K 60hz and 1080p at 240hz! So if you want to game at a high resolution and high frame rate BZBGEAR splitters are going to allow you to do that, also if your focus is esports then they will also help you there as well!
This will depend on how far the HDMI cable is being run. If you’re trying to send a 4K signal further than say 15ft then you should absolutely use some sort of active cable or a powered amplifier to maintain the signal strength. Anything further than 15ft running a 4K signal will start to experience signal degradation otherwise.
All of our switchers have support for auto downscaling. That means that you can use these splitters with two different resolutions without any issues! So if you want to have an 8K signal on one display and a 1080p (even up to 240hz) signal on another you can absolutely do that with these!
That is going to depend on how many signs you are looking to power, but for commercial it’s a safe bet to go a bit overboard with the amount of displays that you can deliver signals to. In this case we’d recommend our BG-8K-DA18, it will allow for splitting one signal up to 8 displays, has auto downscaling and audio de-embedding.
