Designed for complete system integration, the BG-EXH-8K100U combines USB 2.0 extension, bi-directional IR, RS-232 pass-through, CEC support, audio de-embedding, advanced EDID management, and bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC). The BG-EXH-8K100U extends HDMI 2.1 video, audio, USB, and control signals over a single CAT5e/6 cable using HDBaseT technology. Supporting up to 48Gbps Fixed Rate Link (FRL) bandwidth and 18Gbps TMDS, it delivers resolutions up to 8K@60Hz (4:2:0 12-bit) and 4K@144Hz, while supporting advanced HDMI 2.1 features including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Quick Media Switching (QMS), Quick Frame Transport (QFT), and Source-Based Tone Mapping (SBTM). Compatibility with HDCP and advanced EDID management ensures reliable interoperability with modern source devices and displays.

Built for professional AV applications, the extender supports HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG, preserving exceptional brightness, contrast, and color accuracy for HDR content. High-fidelity audio pass-through supports immersive formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and other advanced HD audio codecs, while analog audio de-embedding at the receiver allows connection to external amplifiers and audio systems. Transmitter

  1. PWR LED: Green LED illuminates when the transmitter is powered on.
  2. EDID DIP Switch: Selects EDID mode: TV (COPY) copies EDID from the connected display;
    STD uses built-in standard EDID (4K60 4:4:4 SDR 2CH).
  3. SERVICE (USB-C): Firmware update port for system maintenance and upgrades.
  4. DC 24V: Locking 24V/1A power input. Supports PoC operation (powering RX from TX or vice versa).
  5. HDBT OUT: HDBaseT output (RJ45) connection to receiver unit.
  6. LINK LED (Green): ON: TX and RX are linked. OFF: No HDBaseT link.
  7. DATA LED (Yellow): ON: HDMI signal with HDCP. Flashing: HDMI signal without HDCP. OFF: No HDMI signal.
