The BG-8K-HS41A 48Gbps 4x1 HDMI Switcher is a high-performance solution designed to seamlessly switch between four HDMI source signals on a single HDMI display. Capable of supporting video resolutions up to 8K@60Hz 4:2:0, this switcher is equipped with cutting-edge features to enhance your audiovisual experience. Featuring HDCP 2.3 compliance, the BG-8K-HS41A ensures compatibility with the latest copy protection standards for secure playback. It supports high bandwidth of 48Gbps FRL and 18Gbps TMDS, accommodating resolutions up to 8K@60Hz 4:2:0 12bit, 8K@30Hz 4:4:4 12bit, and 4K@120Hz 4:4:4 12bit, adhering to HDMI 2.1 specifications. The switcher also includes HDMI 2.1 protocol support, featuring Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Quick Media Switching (QMS), Quick Frame Transport (QFT), and Source-Based Tone Mapping (SBTM).

In terms of HDR and audio capabilities, the BG-8K-HS41A supports various formats including HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG pass-through. It also accommodates HDMI audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS. The switcher routes four HDMI inputs to a single HDMI output and supports HDMI input and TV eARC audio de-embedding to SPDIF and L/R outputs. It can also output audio to SONOS ARC & Beam or any eARC-compatible soundbar.

Additional features include CEC control, which allows for seamless control from the TV to the source device and volume adjustments from the TV to any eARC sound system. Advanced EDID management is also incorporated to ensure optimal compatibility and signal quality. For ongoing enhancements, firmware updates can be performed via the USB Type-C port.   1. IR Window: IR input signal receiving window.
  2. POWER LED: The red LED is on when the device is powered on.
  3. INPUT LED (1~4): When the HDMI IN 1/2/3/4 port is selected as the signal source input channel, the corresponding green LED will be on.
  4. OUT LED: When the HDMI OUT port connects to a display device, the green LED will be on.
  5. AUTO LED: When the auto-switching function (switch to the corresponding signal input channel when the signal source is connected.) is turned on, the green AUTO LED will be on.
  6. eARC LED: On: The ARC/eARC function is turned on. CEC communication and ARC/eARC are working properly.
    Flashing: The ARC/eARC function is turned on. CEC communication and ARC/eARC are not working properly.
    Off: The ARC/eARC function is turned off.
  7. eARC switch: Press the button to turn on/off ARC/eARC function.

  8. SWITCH button: Used to select a signal source for the OUT port. Short press this button to circularly switch the HDMI input signal to the OUT port. Long press for 3 seconds to turn on/off the auto-switching function.
