Power over category cable refers to being able to power up either a Receiver or transmitter from one of the devices via a CAT5E/6/7 cable, eliminating the need for two power supplies providing a convenient and clean install.

The EDID job is to read the information off a Display for the purpose of matching the sources which includes manufacturer name and serial number, product type, filter type, timings, size luminance, and pixel mapping. This is vital to ensure the source and display will be compatible for signal transmission and receival. When there is no picture, this may be the issue, referred to as EDID conflicts.

Another new development in the new generation of HDBaseT is the ability to handle separate audio feeds from end-to-end. Not only can the embedded audio within the TMDS signal be up to 192KHz, but a further 2 sources of 48KHz can be sent bi-directionally via S/PDIF meaning separate audio baluns are no longer required. S/PDIF is based on the AES3 interconnect Standard. S/PDIF can carry two channels of uncompressed PCM Audio or compresses 5.1/7.1 surround sound like DTS; it will not support lossless surround formats that require greater bandwidth.

Easily connect to devices using a LAN connection, simply type in the default or custom IP address associated with the device. Configure and Customize settings from here for individual environments to achieve desired video settings and outcome.

Ultra HD refers to a TV resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. That's four times as many pixels than in a full HD TV, a total of about 8.3 million pixels. Having so many pixels means a higher pixel density, and you should have a clearer, better defined picture.

The maximum bandwidth possible due to the introduction of HDMI 2.0. Prior to HDMI 2.0 was HDMI 1.4 limited to 10.2 Gbps. The new technology permits resolutions of [email protected] (4:4:4) while still capable of transmitting audio and control signals simultaneously.

HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection, a copy prevention technology directed at HDMI connections. Version 2.2 is the latest, designed specifically to prevent illegal copying of 4K Ultra HD content.

HDBaseT - A global standard for the transmission of ultra-high-definition video & audio, Ethernet, controls, USB and up to 100W of power over a single, long-distance, cable using Category cable such as Cat5/5e/6/6a/7 with RJ45 connectors.

The BZBGEAR BG-M88S-H2A-KIT is an eight-input by eight-output HDBaseT and HDMI matrix with HDCP 2.2 and up to 4K/[email protected] video support. It transmits 4K video to distances up to 131 feet (40 meters) and 1080p video to distances up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a single CATx Ethernet cable. The eight HDBaseT outputs support 24V power over Cat5e/6/7 feature, allowing the receivers to draw their power from the matrix over the HDBaseT cable. BZBGear BG-M88S-H2A-KIT matrix switcher features comprehensive EDID management and advanced HDCP handing to ensure maximum functionality with a wide range of video sources.
The matrix switcher not only supports bi-directional IR, RS232 extension but also has IR, RS232, and TCP/IP control options. BZBGear BG-M88S-H2A-KIT provides performance in control and transmission, which could be used in several different installation scenarios, for example, with computers, for monitoring purposes, large screen displays, conference systems, television education, bank security institutions, etc.
