4X3+1 HDMI 2.0 HDBT Matrix Switcher with 3 Receivers
4X3+1 HDMI 2.0 HDBT Matrix Switcher with 3 Receivers

HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection, a copy prevention technology directed at HDMI connections. Version 2.2 is the latest, designed specifically to prevent illegal copying of 4K Ultra HD content.

The EDID job is to read the information off a Display for the purpose of matching the sources which includes manufacturer name and serial number, product type, filter type, timings, size luminance, and pixel mapping. This is vital to ensure the source and display will be compatible for signal transmission and receival. When there is no picture, this may be the issue, referred to as EDID conflicts.

Utilize an array of connections for 3rd Party Control system including RS-232, LAN, IR and USB.

4K UHD WITH HDR OVER HDBaseT Multi-zone transmission of HDR-10 content is nothing new to WyreStorm; we’ve been sending this high-bandwidth content, native & uncompressed over long distances since the introduction of our first H2 extender in 2015. Our H2 matrix is no different, sending pixel-perfect 4K UHD 4:2:0 10-bit @24Hz at distances up to 100m/328ft.

HDBaseT - A global standard for the transmission of ultra-high-definition video & audio, Ethernet, controls, USB and up to 100W of power over a single, long-distance, cable using Category cable such as Cat5/5e/6/6a/7 with RJ45 connectors.

Another new development in the new generation of HDBaseT is the ability to handle separate audio feeds from end-to-end. Not only can the embedded audio within the TMDS signal be up to 192KHz, but a further 2 sources of 48KHz can be sent bi-directionally via S/PDIF meaning separate audio baluns are no longer required. S/PDIF is based on the AES3 interconnect Standard. S/PDIF can carry two channels of uncompressed PCM Audio or compresses 5.1/7.1 surround sound like DTS; it will not support lossless surround formats that require greater bandwidth.

Ultra HD refers to a TV resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. That's four times as many pixels than in a full HD TV, a total of about 8.3 million pixels. Having so many pixels means a higher pixel density, and you should have a clearer, better defined picture.

Power over category cable refers to being able to power up either a Receiver or transmitter from one of the devices via a CAT5E/6/7 cable, eliminating the need for two power supplies providing a convenient and clean install.

BG-M44-H2A-KIT is a 4K 4x4 HDBaseT Matrix with 3 Receivers! It features 4 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI output with audio breakout and 3 HDBaseT outputs. The de-embedded audio can be output from SPDIF and L/R connector. It supports video resolutions up to [email protected] 4:4:4 and can transmit 4K video to distances up to 131 feet (40 meters) and 1080P video to distances up to 229 feet (70 meters) over a single CATx cable. It supports bidirectional IR extension and IR, RS232, and TCP/IP control options. It supports power over Cat5e/6/7 feature, allowing the receivers to draw their power from the matrix over the CATx cable. In addition, there is the smart built-in EDID setting can be selected by the 4-pin DIP switch on the rear panel.
