8X8 HDMI and HDBaseT Matrix Switch with Bi-directional IR and ARC Function
8X8 HDMI and HDBaseT Matrix Switch with Bi-directional IR and ARC Function

Easily connect to devices using a LAN connection, simply type in the default or custom IP address associated with the device. Configure and Customize settings from here for individual environments to achieve desired video settings and outcome.

4K UHD WITH HDR OVER HDBaseT Multi-zone transmission of HDR-10 content is nothing new to WyreStorm; we’ve been sending this high-bandwidth content, native & uncompressed over long distances since the introduction of our first H2 extender in 2015. Our H2 matrix is no different, sending pixel-perfect 4K UHD 4:2:0 10-bit @24Hz at distances up to 100m/328ft.

HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection, a copy prevention technology directed at HDMI connections. Version 2.2 is the latest, designed specifically to prevent illegal copying of 4K Ultra HD content.

Power over Cat5e/6/7 refers to being able to power up either a Receiver or transmitter from one of the devices via a CAT5/6/7 cable, eliminating the need for two power supplies providing a convenient and clean install.

HDBaseT - A global standard for the transmission of ultra-high-definition video & audio, Ethernet, controls, USB and up to 100W of power over a single, long-distance, cable using Category cable such as Cat5/5e/6/6a/7 with RJ45 connectors.

HDMI outputs matching another HDMI or HDBaseT output delivering the same images simultaneously. For example, if a Matrix Switch has 8 HDBaseT outputs and 8 HDMI Mirrored Outputs 16 displays can be run simultaneously, but only 8-Sources simultaneously are capable of being displayed, 2-Display will have the same source playing.

Ultra HD refers to a TV resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. That's four times as many pixels than in a full HD TV, a total of about 8.3 million pixels. Having so many pixels means a higher pixel density, and you should have a clearer, better defined picture.

(Audio Return Channel) Connection typically in the form of SPDIF (Fiber Optic) port on a Display responsible for returning audio from the HDMI input in which a Source is connected providing sound back to a Surround Sound receiver to amplifier for audio distribution.

The 8X8 HDMI and HDBaseT Matrix Switch can connect eight HDMI sources to sixteen displays. It features eight HDMI outputs with each HDMI output mirrored to a simultaneous HDBaseT output. The HDBaseT output can extend video transmission distance up to 328ft / 100 meters via a single cat5e/6/7 cable at resolutions up to [email protected] 4:4:4.
This product performs full IR and audio matrix switching. With the ARC function, it can return the audio signal from an HDMI or HDBaseT display device to the coaxial audio output. It can also extract the audio signal from HDMI source devices to the analog audio output. Each extender features bi-directional IR, RS232, and 2 LAN ports for IP Control. The base unit has an intuitive set of front panel controls with OLED screen and also supports control using IR, RS-232, IP, and Web GUI.
The BG-UM88-100M-KIT is loaded with all the features you need to form the core of a future-proof A/V Distribution system. Contact a friendly BZB sales engineer today to order yours!
