How to Troubleshoot Inverted PTZ Controls When a Camera Is Mounted Upside Down
If your BZBGEAR PTZ camera is mounted upside down and the PTZ controls are not inverting correctly, follow the steps below to correct the image orientation and control behavior.
1. Access the Camera Web GUI

- Ensure you have network access to the camera.
- Log in to the camera's Web GUI.
- Navigate to Configuration > Video Parameters > Image Settings.
2. Check the Auto Flip Setting

Locate the Auto Flip setting.
- If Auto Flip is OFF, enable it. This should flip the camera image and automatically invert the PTZ controls to match the camera's orientation.
- If Auto Flip is already ON but the PTZ controls are not inverted correctly, disable Auto Flip and then enable it again. This can refresh the camera's orientation and control settings.
3. Power Cycle the Camera and Controller
If the controls are still not responding correctly:
- Power off the camera and PTZ controller.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Power the camera and controller back on.
- Test the PTZ controls again.
