BZBGEAR BG-MVS4X4-CV Setup and Operation Guide
1. Basic Setup
- Connect HDMI Sources
Plug your HDMI source devices (e.g., Blu-ray players, PCs, media players) into the HDMI IN 1–4 ports.
- Connect HDMI Displays
Connect your displays or monitors to the HDMI OUT 1–4 ports.
- Note: If setting up a video wall, ensure each display is connected to the correct HDMI output port according to your layout configuration.
- Connect Power
Plug in the 12V DC power adapter and connect it to the unit.
- Power On
Turn on the unit. The Power LED will illuminate green when the system is ready.
2. Operation Modes
A. 4×4 Matrix Mode
This mode allows you to route any HDMI input to any HDMI output.
To switch inputs:
- Press the desired OUTPUT button (1–4 or ALL) on the front panel or remote.
- Press the desired INPUT button (1–4) to assign that input to the selected output(s).
Example:
OUTPUT 2 → INPUT 3 routes the signal from HDMI IN 3 to HDMI OUT 2.
Resolution Control (Matrix Mode Only)
To change output resolution:
- Press the OUTPUT button (1–4 or ALL).
- Press the Res button on the remote to cycle through available resolutions:
- 1080p
- 720p
- 1920×1200
- 4K@30Hz
Each output can be upscaled or downscaled individually as needed.
B. Video Wall Mode
Use this mode to combine multiple displays into one large seamless image.
Supported Configurations:
- 2×2
- 1×4
- 4×1
- Custom layouts
To activate a video wall:
- Press the corresponding Video Wall Mode button on the remote.
- Select the video wall group (OUTPUT 1–4).
- Choose the desired input source (INPUT 1–4 or use ◀ / ▶ to navigate).
Bezel Adjustment
To fine-tune display alignment:
- Ensure your TVs’ “Fit to Screen” or similar scaling options are enabled.
- Use the remote’s H-BEZEL and V-BEZEL arrow keys to adjust horizontal and vertical bezels for perfect image alignment.
Note: Please check the resizing and picture formatting settings on your displays before making bezel corrections.
Video Wall Output Resolution
- All video wall outputs are fixed at 1080p.
- Any outputs not part of the video wall operate in pass-through mode.
Image Mirroring
- Available only in Video Wall Mode.
- If an image appears reversed, check the Mirror Mode setting and disable it if not desired.
3. Troubleshooting Guide

4. Tips and Best Practices
- Use high-quality HDMI 2.0 or higher cables for stable 4K transmission.
- For long cable runs, use Active Optical Cables (AOC) or HDMI extenders.
- Always power off devices before making or changing connections to avoid handshake issues.
- When configuring a video wall, label your HDMI cables and displays for easier setup and troubleshooting.
