It was during the summer of love in 1967 when the International Broadcasting Convention was born. A time when the world was beginning to showcase itself more vividly. This was when the television industry produced the first color television broadcast in Europe. The men who founded IBC wanted more than just a standard commercial exhibition. With a deep passion, they thrived for better for the industry. These men saw a need for a convention created “by the industry, for the industry”. Since then, IBC has played a vital role in the evolution of media and entertainment technology. IBC provides a forum for industry professionals around the world to come together and exchange ideas and showcase innovations.
It is now 2022, and IBC is hosting another groundbreaking event after 3 years since the COVID pandemic. This year’s event is expected to be one of the largest, with some of the world’s top brands attending such as Google, Sony and Amazon. The venue hosting the event is RAI Amsterdam, one of the leading international exhibition centers in Europe. Other than an array of industry leading exhibitors and speakers; visitors will also be accommodated with hotel services and travel assistance. At the venue, visitors can expect to have access to a variety of restaurants, cafes and snack bars. Furthermore, this event is located in Amsterdam, which is famous for its tourist attractions! These are just a few of the many reasons to show up.
With that being said, BZBGEAR is excited to announce that we will be attending IBC 2022! BZBGEAR has been on a winning streak thus far; winning an award at the NAB show for our BG-ADAMO-4K and winning an award for our BG-MAESTRO at InfoComm 2022.
