What's the Buzz with BZBGEAR in 2024? The Year in Review.

As 2024 comes to a close, we at BZBGEAR are buzzing with excitement over what’s been an incredible year! Welcome to the BZBGEAR Year in Review.

Our main goal for 2024 is solidifying ourselves as a complete end-to-end pro AV and broadcasting manufacturer of award-winning 4K and 8K solutions. Your entire setup and, most importantly, support can conveniently be under a single company. Better yet, our gear is compatible with other brands creating harmonious open ecosystems. And with our own fully-stocked warehouse, we are striving to be your number one pro AV and broadcasting supplier.

From award-winning products to fresh collaborations and premier industry events, this year was one for the books. Let’s break it down quarter by quarter and celebrate the highlights.

Q1: Kicking Off the Year with a Bang

January

• ISE 2024: Starting the year with a bang, we made waves at the largest pro AV event in the world, ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) in Barcelona, Spain. We debuted our BG-Nutrix medical-grade PTZ camera and showcased our cutting-edge 4K and 8K gear in our gaming stations featuring the latest PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Guests were blown away with stunning 4K@120Hz resolutions!
• • Awards Galore: BG-Nutrix (Best of Show 2024; AV Technology) and other products won multiple awards, including four TNT Awards (BG-EXH-8KC6, BG-AVTPG-8K, BG-8K-1212MA, BG-Air4Kast) and multiple Best of Show recognitions from Sound & Video Contractor (BG-AVTPG-8K) and Residential Systems (BG-Air4Kast).
    
    

• Innovative Applications: Award-winning AV professional Justin Dawson CTS®, IPMA-D® integrated our medical cart and 10x FHD PTZ camera into simulation teaching environments at the Clinical Education Centre in Dublin City University.
• Star Appearances: Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Studios featured our BG-Adamo-4K cameras in his new in-house studio as part of an Architectural Digest segment.

February

• Monte Weaver’s Spotlight: Tech influencer Monte Weaver praised our BG-ADAMO-4K PTZ camera, calling it the best 4K PTZ camera he’s used, with standout features like AI auto-tracking and 1TB microSD card writer.
• BZBGEAR Talks: Monte joined us on a livestream to share insights into his pro AV experiences and highlight his favorite BZBGEAR products.

March

• HIMSS 2024: We showcased our BG-Nutrix camera at the premier healthcare innovation event in Orlando.
• Disney Collaboration: How cool is that? Our Adamo PTZ cameras and Commander joystick controller played a starring role in the first cast read-through of Disney’s Zombies 4 in New Zealand. It was Zoomed around the world and to a live audience of Disney Executives. Special thanks to our New Zealand distributors Nigel Burton and DVANZ for their support in making this happen!!
• Commercial Integrator Features: Our VP of Sales, Eilbron, shared insights on AV over IP (AVoIP) trends and our IPGEAR solutions in a Q&A interview.

Q2: Award-Winning Momentum

April

• NAB Show 2024: In Las Vegas, we dazzled attendees with our 8K HDMI solutions and celebrated winning SVC Best of Show for our portable 8K Test Pattern Generator (BG- AVTPG-MINI-G2).
  • Notable Partnerships: We collaborated with industry giants NETGEAR, Dante, NDI, and vMix, enhancing our product ecosystem at the show.
  • Celebrity Sighting: Mortal Kombat's Kabal himself made an unexpected appearance at our booth. Toasty! We had some fun with Jonathan Cahill who voiced Kabal and learned some cool things about the process. Flawless victory!
• SCN Stellar Service Awards: Our Tech Support Knowledge Base won Silver for Best Supporting Content, a testament to our commitment to exceptional customer service.

May

• Commander Pro Review: Church Production Magazine reviewed our award-winning BG-Commander-Pro, praising its intuitive 7-inch touchscreen and seamless control capabilities.

June

• InfoComm 2024: In Vegas again, our 8K and 4K proAV solutions stole the show. We secured two Commercial Integrator BEST Awards and SCN’s Most Innovative AV Installation Accessory for our 8K Test Pattern Generator.
  • Industry Leaders Unite: We collaborated with HDBaseT, Dante, NDI, , NETGEAR, Elgato, pushing the boundaries of pro AV.

Q3: Big Moves Mid-Year

July

• Monte Weaver Strikes Again: Monte replaced his ATEM Mini with our BG-QuadFusion-4K production switcher, raving about its multiview support and UHD quality.
• New Distributor: We welcomed TecNec Distributing as an authorized partner, expanding our reach and solutions.

August

• Warranty Update: Effective Aug. 1, we updated our warranty terms to provide the utmost assurance our gear runs optimally in your systems. Essential Line: 3 years; Pro Line: 5 years; Cables: lifetime.
• BG-USB3-LR100 Release: Our new USB extender offered 328ft/100m transmission with lightning-fast 5Gbps data transfer rates.

September

• CEDIA Expo 2024: Our BG-Air4Kast won Best of Show, and VP of Sales, Eilbron, shared insights on 8K’s future impact as a guest speaker.
• IBC 2024: IBC, or International Broadcasting Convention, is the premier broadcasting media and tech event in the world. IBC covers the latest in production, distribution and consumption of digital content. Big thanks to our partners ZZIPP Group (Italy), IDM Solutions (Netherlands), and AVL Media Group (Canada) for joining the party and helping out!   • More Awards!: Our BG-IPGEAR-Ultra won Installation Magazine’s Best of Show, solidifying our leadership in AV over IP solutions.
• CCS Expo 2024: This one-day event at CCS Presentation Systems HQ focused on the corporate and government pro AV markets. Guests enjoyed food, drinks, and mini golf as they visited exhibitors. Fore!
• Cloud Control Partnership: We partnered with San Fransico-based Iris to enable cloud-based PTZ camera control, eliminating the need for extra hardware.

Q4: Scoring Big to Close Out the Year

October–December

• New 8K Products: We capped off the year by launching exciting new 8K products, reinforcing our commitment to the 8K movement.
• Sacramento Kings Small Business Partner: We’ve got some king-size news! BZBGEAR became an inaugural Sacramento Kings Small Business Partner. As part of their 40th-anniversary celebration, the Kings teamed up with 40 local businesses, representing unity and growth in the community. A special thanks to Eleven Sports Media for making this partnership possible.
• M&E Best in Market Awards: Our BG-8K-88MA was recognized as a winner in TV Tech’s Media & Entertainment Best in Market Awards 2024 for its innovation, feature set, and ease of use. It’s another highlight for our award-winning 8x8 8K HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switcher.
• InfoComm America Latina 2025: Always expanding our reach, we’re thrilled to announce our participation in the inaugural InfoComm America Latina show in Mexico City next year.
• Church Production 2024 Gear Highlights: Thanks to Church Production Magazine for spotlighting our Adamo PTZ camera in their 2024 Gear Highlights. Adamo continues to be the most awarded PTZ camera in the market!
