Use high quality cables (SDI cat5e/6 for IP, HDMI certifications) and we'd recommend that you label each run. You can also use proper strain relief and cable ties, just don't over tighten them! And finally you should ensure that all equipment is connected to a common ground connection so you can avoid hum/buzz or imaging artifacts.
