Why 8K Matters Today

All of these matrix switchers offer some amazing features such as auto-downscaling. What that means is that if you are sending a 4K signal through one of these matrix switchers to a 1080p display it will automatically adjust the signal to that display without changing the main feed to a lower resolution. They also boast audio de-embedding to allow for easy integration with existing audio systems. 

Finally you can also take advantage of features like variable refresh rate, FVA and ALLM. 

2. 8K Integration Tools

One of the most sensible ways to upgrade an AV toolbox is to get yourself some integration tools like a test pattern generator or a signal analyzer. And since we’re moving towards 4K and 8K becoming more common in the AV world, it’s very advantageous to look into an 8K version of these products.

3. 8K Distribution & Extension
