Along with the audio insertion or embedding for the HDMI output, the audio is de-embedded in unison to a balanced analog audio output. Device extensions are provided using a type-B USB port for host connection, and two type-A USB ports for HID devices such as keyboards, microphones, and cameras.
This KVM presentation switch has many options for control. It can be manually controlled using the front panel buttons as well as with RS-232 command. CEC allows control of the display device via the front panel buttons offering RS-232 and CEC commands. Auto mode is a cool feature allowing the switcher to automatically switch to the first detected source device. When the active source is disconnected, the unit switches to the lowest numbered input.
