Let’s face it, teachers and professors have enough challenges in classrooms without worrying about changing camera shots and angles for remote learning. BZBGEAR auto-tracking cameras can help alleviate this additional distraction. As we know, live streaming cameras are here to stay just in case there are any future possible issues with not being able to attend courses due to illnesses or extenuating circumstances. Since schools and businesses cannot afford to close down, it's best to get ahead of any possible future misfortunes by installing a camera now versus later.
BZBGEAR offers three distinctive models and two unique styles of auto-tracking cameras to select from for specific environments.
The initial integration and setup of these cameras can be involved versus a plug and play Webcam, therefore BZBGEAR recommends sourcing a professional integrator or in-house IT engineer for installation of auto-tracking cameras, especially if the project requires multiple cameras to be installed as part of a large roll out.
BZBGEAR sells two versions of the PTZ motorized BG-LVUPTZ auto-tracking camera available in both 12x and 20x optical zoom ranges: BG-LVUPTZ-HUS and BG-LVUPTZ-SD. The primary differences between the two camera options is the video connection styles.
The BG-LVUPTZ-HUS version is equipped with two ports of each connection type, HDMI, USB 3.0 and LAN. This camera version is the choice for the majority of schools classrooms due to the USB 3.0 plug and play connectivity to a computer and the standard HDMI outputs for local displays or projectors. The two LAN ports are primarily for setup purposes and not required once the setup has been completed.
The BG-LVUPTZ-SD version is equipped with two ports of each connection, SDI and LAN. It does not offer USB 3.0 or HDMI. This camera is typically used in auditoriums or live events where speakers are on a stage. SDI connections are great for long distance runs not usually required in classrooms since they do not exceed 30-40ft typically.
Both of these models involve two separate integrated cameras which is why there are two separate video outputs allocated with each style of connection. The secondary camera located at the base in front is known as the panoramic camera capturing the perimeter of the area for setup purposes. The main camera with the large lens is responsible for Panning, Tilting and Zooming on the subject. The cameras require setup using both of these cameras in conjunction with the included software program responsible for selecting the appropriate area to be used with the auto-tracking feature. Both of these cameras also offer a 3.5mm audio insertion port for microphones and one RS-232 port for control programs and joystick controllers.
Another excellent auto-tracking solution is the BG-MAESTRO built in the form of a Box Camera similar to the appearance of a surveillance camera. This sleek and innovative camera is very unique both physically and internally. The amazing image is the result of a 4K Sony CMOS Lens providing 8 megapixels and delivers a high-definition resolution of [email protected] for live streaming to popular platforms like YouTube and Facebook. There is a software program for setting up the areas to be tracked as well as many other environmental settings for video and audio functions.
Connect a computer using the USB 3.0 for easy access to well known conferencing platforms like Zoom, Skype, Echo360 and Google Classrooms. There is also an SDI connection capable of long runs up to 330ft and a LAN port for connecting to the Network for IP streaming and setup while providing PoE power eliminating the need for an external power supply. Plug in a microphone to the 3.5mm audio input jack when applicable.
This camera can easily be mounted to a Tripod using the ¼” thread located on the bottom or use a universal wall or ceiling mount for out of the way mount locations.
